The Topro uMotion Rollator is an ideal choice for people with Parkinson's Disease or other neurological disorders. It has a reverse braking system, meaning the brakes are always on unless released by squeezing the handle, therefore, preventing falls. The Brake can also be used with one hand making sitting down safely easier.

The U shaped frame ensures good stability and enables correct posture. The small wheels at the bottom end help roll the rollator over kerbs and other terrains without tilting.  It has integrated adjustable drag brakes for extra control.

It is safe to sit down and get up as the brakes are always on and it has a backrest for support and comfort.  The seat can also be used as a tray.

Tension can be adjusted to obtain correct resistance for more control and support. Watch the video here

Optional laser beam can be selected to help with 'freezing' episodes. Once the user steps over the laser light the 'freezing' episode ends.

What is 'freezing' episodes - people living with Parkinson's disease describe this as feeling like their feet are glued to the ground. When this happens the person affected might not be able to move forward again for several seconds or minutes. It can feel as if the top half of their body can move, but the bottom half is stuck. It is not known exactly what causes the 'freezing' but it can get worse if the person is feeling stressed, anxious or have lost concentration. For more information on 'freezing' please visit the Parkinson's UK
